Pinkie, the magical village of dreams: among fantasy, illusions and timeless oddities

In a far, faraway place, a small and charming village called Pinkie takes shape, and everything in it is pink. It’s an “almost invisible” village, located in the “deepest depths of the mind”, unknown to anyone and not easily accessible, perhaps only for few. But if you want to reach It, there is a path to take, use your imagination and you’ll arrive in no time.

Pinkie is divided into four levels, known as boroughs: on the first level is Utópia Borough, on the second Illusion Borough, on the third Strangeness Borough and on the fourth Extravagance Borough.

To enter the boroughs you only need the best smile and good intentions

This is a unique village because it develops along a vertical line. Each borough has its reference, colour, culture, identity, values and principles. To enter each level, one must “descend and immerse oneself” in the habits of that level. Each resident has a Pass for their respective Borough. On the village’s rooftop, there is also a beehive, a fountain and a music box, which serve as an extension of Extravagance Borough. All characters from the story animate the different levels.

Utópia Borough

On the first level there are the “Utopians or Chimerians”, those who continually chase that “new wind”, that dream, that desire or vision and live by that awareness. They are the ones who often pursue new experiences and dreams, remaining the most courageous and curious level. Those on the first level certainly know how to “fly far”. To enter this borough, you must have a dream.

Illusion Borough

On the second level, Illusion Borough, we find the “Illusionists”. They are skilled, almost like magicians, they know how to shift perspectives, distract and sometimes even manipulate, fully understanding how to influence. They are excellent entertainers, able to “sweep you away” with their talk and offer various visions to captivate.

Listening to the residents of Illusion Borough would mean straying from true goals and healthy desires. Try not to “get lost” and keep resonating with your unique energy, don’t let yourself be enchanted, as sometimes, they sell “illusions and smoke”. To enter this level, you’ll need to be a light character and also be able to spin stories and sell tales.

Strangeness Borough

In the third borough live the “Eccentrics”. This level is ruled by uniqueness, candor and peculiarity. Here, they are “strange” in the right way without pretending to be anything else and, most importantly, they appreciate themselves for who they are. They need to preserve their unique traits because they are aware that authenticity is a distinctive feature and are very proud of It. Despite their oddities, they are not malicious, they are simply unusual and singular.

The invitation is to remain exactly oneself without regard to what “society” or others say or ask. Those on the third level couldn’t care less about others’ opinions and are adorable. To enter this borough, you only need to be different and bring an eccentricity, you’ll certainly be welcome.

Extravagance Borough

On the fourth and last level are the most eccentric, the most revolutionary and maybe the most populated level but also the most forward thinking and well rounded. It stretches from the rooftop to the “Realm of the Last” as its final dwelling. Here, it’s important to accept life for what it is and strive not to repeat the same mistakes. On this level, one learns that nothing is eternal and that life is a cycle to which we must “respond” as best we can. In this borough, there is the duty to “build” and grow with a main attitude of smiling and being kind. In fact, one gains access to the level only if one is courteous and graceful. It’s important to arrive with a “written self awareness”. To enter this borough, all you need is your best smile and good intentions.

In conclusion

In the village of Pinkie, anything can happen and no one ever ages, the residents remain youthful and beautiful in their way. It’s a “magical village” where everyone knows that the keyword is “imagination”. They are aware that, today, to the “sickness of living”, they only need a healthy alternative to “fly away”. Pinkie, the village of dreams and a thousand shades of pink.
